Product DNA & Eiffage
Summary:
Founded in 1844, Eiffage has evolved into one of the most reputable Europe’s construction companies spanning construction & concession, property and urban development, civil engineering, energy systems, and metallic constructions.
Product DNA and Eiffage initiated their collaboration in 2019 for the needs of a specific project: Hyperion Tower Bordeaux. It has since grown into a steadfast partnership, ensuring sustainable construction through traceability.
Goal: Eiffage aims to demonstrate responsible sourcing and usage of materials, including solid wood, concrete, and other components. To achieve this, it focuses on communicating traceability data transparently with partners and stakeholders.
Proposed Solution by Product DNA:
Supplier Mapping: Software Solution – Tracing the entire supply chain of wood, concrete, and other materials from origin to disposal.
Third-Party Verification – Independent review of the data collected.
Wood Label Certification – Issuing a verified infographic certificate, containing essential information about the materials’ origin, volume, production course, and lumber details.
Climate Impact – Create low carbon design and construction with independent supply chain traceability, extended to various materials.
Traceability in Construction – Guarantee material traceability from worksite to raw material extraction zone. Extend traceability approach to new materials like biosourced products, concrete, and steel.
Introduce an online platform for transparent communication of traceability information.
Circular Economy – Highlight carbon emissions reduction and virtuous deconstruction solutions.
Deliver QR code-enabled traceability audit to the customer post-project completion.
Respect-code Publication: Publishing supply chain data on a public transparency platform.
